Preparing artwork for cutout in Krita
Krita, you made my day! Your “clone layers” + “transform masks” are killer features for preparing artwork for cutout animation. The important thing that I can see and edit image “as whole” and the pieces are updated automatically.
This is great when you want to split image into pieces to import into animation program and at the same time keep it editable for future corrections (if any). With this feature you don’t need to split image again every time after you fixed something. The “isolate layer” feature is also a big helper!
